An hour consultation, followed by another hour to present ideas. At this 2nd appointment we will share inspiration photos, paint colors, ideas and really a new way to look at your space. This is a fun way to reinvent the space you already have, and get fresh eyes on it to give you the ideas to transform your space in small ways to make a big impact.

  1. Initial Consult

30 minute complimentary consultation at your home. Copper & Ivory will do a walk through of your home. We will discuss the project, your budget, timeline, the way you use your home and the goals you have for it.

2. Scope of Work

A personalized Scope of Work is developed specific to you and your project. This will outline the budget and the scope of the project and used as a tool for the duration of the project. If the scope is agreed upon, both parties will sign and a retainer is collected.

3. Design Meeting

An onsite meeting to gather measurements, spend time in the space and get familiar with the home and the opportunities and challenges it may present. This is a great time to tell us what you love about the space, what bugs you, if you host holidays or work from home. We love to see any Pinterest boards or magazine images you love.

4. Design Plan & Presentation

We spend the next few weeks working on your home! Creating a design plan, collecting samples, choosing lighting, paint, wallcoverings, furniture. We creat design boards, floor plans and renderings where necessary. We then plan another meeting to show you all the ideas and make any revisions if necessary.

5. Order Placement & Timeline Creation

Our team works hard to get all of the approved items on order. We coordinate and track all deliveries and develop a realistic timeline of events.

6. Install & Style

The grand finale! When all the pieces come together, the construction is complete and all the furniture is in place. We finish off the space with styling items and remain on site until every last detail is perfect. Finally, we leave you to enjoy your beautiful new space!

FAQs

  • Trust. Trust the process, trust us, trust the end result will be worth all the . Letting go and trusting Copper & Ivory to get your project to the finish line is hands down the most important part of the process.

  • I have a pretty laid back approach to design. There is nothing stuffy about us or our process. While we are organized and thoughtful about the process if you are expecting spreadsheets on top of spreadsheets we might not be a good fit.

  • Often times we are inspired by a vintage piece we have from our collection or will try to source at least one vintage/one-of-a-kind piece. The rest we source from all over to create a unique look that works with your budget. We like to spend on the important things like a sofa and rug, but save in other areas.

  • While we pride ourselves in being an accessible design firm, when you are going all in on a room and buying all the items at once the numbers do add up. We love mixing high end pieces with a couple of more budget friendly items, mixed in with vintage piece here and there. You should plan to spend at least 20K per room, and if there’s more room in the budget we can get more creative and make it more unique with custom fabrics and wallcoverings.
