This was a very special project, there were lots of tears but the best kind…happy tears! This client bought a dream cottage from a family friend on her dream lake. There was so much meaning and emotions in this sweet little cottage, we absolutely loved being a part of the renovation. We renovated and decorated every inch of this home but kept the original charm of this lakeside beauty. After some negotiating she allowed us to paint most of the woodwork to really give the cottage new life. We left one bedroom with the original wood walls and it oozes with old charm that we all love. We painted the original kitchen cabinetry but added new countertops, backsplash and hardware. We added a swing bed out on the porch which is the favorite seat in the house. A sweet little office for two and enough bedrooms for the whole family. A true treasure.
